Opening a Bank Account

If you are going to stay in the UK for an extended period, you will most likely find it helpful to open a bank account. In partnership with HSBC we can assist with opening a UK bank account to help manage your money. This includes 24/7 internet banking and a debit card to use for all you needs.

Things to do before leaving home
You should speak with your bank at home about running a bank account in the UK and find out whether they have any special relationships with the local banks. Also, you should ask about the methods available for transferring money and the costs involved. Sometimes, international students can use their cash cards from home in the UK banks so make sure to check this as well.
